Agriculture students reuniting decades later
GRADUATES of Glenormiston Agricultural College who attended in the 1990s are readying to reunite – not just to reconnect, but to strengthen the future of the agricultural industry.

A unique reunion event will be held at the Bendigo Racecourse next month in a bid to bring together former students who graduated between 1990 and 1999.
Former students are expected to attend from across the country, creating a powerful networking opportunity grounded in shared educational roots.
The Glenormiston Agricultural College Reunion and Industry Networking Event is an initiative designed to reconnect graduates while supporting stronger ties within the agriculture sector.
From their earliest days studying agriculture in Victoria, some of the graduates have gone on to build diverse careers across farming, agribusiness, research, sustainability and leadership.
The upcoming reunion aims to answer a simple but meaningful question – where are we all now? – while opening the door to new collaborations and industry connections.
Organiser Claire Parks said she hopes the event will become a catalyst for ongoing engagement within the agricultural community, reinforcing the importance of connection in a rapidly evolving industry.
“This event is about more than catching up,” she said.
“It’s about recognising the strength of our shared foundation in agricultural education and using that to build stronger networks across the industry today.”
The event will provide a welcoming space for attendees to reconnect, share experiences and explore opportunities for collaboration.
By bringing together professionals at all stages of their careers, the reunion is designed to foster innovation, mentorship and a renewed sense of community within Victoria’s agricultural sector.
