Last Wednesday children gathered to make Easter baskets at the Terang Library, unleashing their creativity as they prepared for a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Roisin (5) and Riordan (3) Blaine joined Pip (2) and Eva Sloane (5) were among those who made the most of their chance to make their colourful baskets.

The Corangamite Moyne Library Service hosted the Easter basket making events across the shire, giving kids a free day of fun to let their imaginations run wild through some inspired designs.

“In the free, hands-on sessions, children use colourful paper, stickers, crayons, and markers to design and decorate their own Easter baskets,” a Corangamite Moyne Library Service spokesperson said.

“The activities are intended to spark creativity, develop fine motor skills, and get into the festive spirit of Easter.”
