Bad weather affects golf

DUE to bad weather and a wet course, last Thursday’s competition at Terang Golf Club was played on the back half of the course.

A few faithful players contested the nine-hole all day stableford.

Congratulations to Chris Coolahan who won the event with 18 points, followed by Jo Arundell on 17.

Balls down the line went to Terry Beasley 15 and Linda Kenna 15 on a countback from Colin Venn.

Next week all competitions will run; 18 and nine hole stableford and women’s 9.30-10.30am if the weather and course are suitable.
