Timboon P-12 Prep students took part in the annual tradition of dressing up as centenarians to celebrate completing their first 100 days of school.

Prep teacher Linda Ludeman said the occasion had provided a fun-filled day of learning and dress-ups.

“Students came to school dressed as 100-year-olds, complete with grey hair, walking sticks and plenty of creative costumes,” she said.

“They enjoyed a range of activities based around the number 100, including counting to 100, writing about what they might be doing at 100 years of age, creating self-portraits of themselves at 100, and sharing a special cake to celebrate this important milestone.

“The celebration recognised the students’ first 100 days of learning, growth and friendship, while giving them the students the opportunity to reflect on all they have achieved since starting school.”
