Club champions crowned
TERANG Bowling Club has crowned its club champions.
Barry Stonehouse was last week named the men’s club champion for the season with a decisive 25-2 win over Dan Morrison.
Other results were a little closer, with Dawn Hilton becoming the new women’s club champion following a well fought 25-20 victory over Clare Pearson.
In the B grade finals, John Meade defeated Des Hilton 25-14 while Anne Gready defeated Dawn Hilton 25-15.
Pennant season resumed last week, with division two unlucky on Tuesday to lose by just one point against Warrnambool Blue, 58-59.
G. Downie 18 def R. Bayne 17, D. Delaney 20 lost to L. McCosh 24 and P. Templeton 20 def K. Knowles 19.
In division three, Terang Red 31 lost to City Jade 41.
A. Gready 19 def B. Everall 17 and J. Fowler 12 lost to R. Harris 24.
In division four, Terang White 30 lost to Warrnambool Red 47.
A. Taylor 16 lost to K. Johnson 23 and C. Pearson 14 lost to A. Kelly 24.
In the over 60s, Terang 41 defeated Camperdown 19.
