Couch wins A grade
THIRTY-four players contested round three of the club championships and monthly medal (stroke) at the Cobden Golf Club last weekend.
A. Couch was the winner of A grade with nett 76, followed by G. Rix 77 on countback from S. Rix and C. Elsum 77.
B grade was won by M. Drayton 72 from A. Giles on 73.
B . Henderson won C grade on 71, followed by runner-up B. Taylor on 77.
J. Duynhoven won D grade on 69, with L. Bishop runner-up on 76.
Nearest the pins: 4th J. Walker, 7th D. Absalom, 10th D. Bath, closest second on the 2nd J. Rix and closest on the 14th A. Couch.
The monthly medal was won by J. Duynhoven on 69, with A. Giles winning the putting with 27.
