Davies wins at Mortlake

AARON Davies had a strong round on the Mortlake golf course last weekend to take out the monthly medal (stroke).

Davies finished on 37-104-67, ahead of runner-up Hamish Weatherly on 4-76-72.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Jordan Wareham, 6/15 Les Dawson and 9/18 Kurt Robertson.

Balls down the line: Steve Hubbard, Merv Hampson, Les Dawson and Dougal Ranken.

Next week’s event is stableford (first round of handicap matchplay).
