Dragons at home tomorrow

BOORCAN’S division two team had no play in its scheduled game against Ecklin on Saturday due to the weather.

This week the Dragons will host Heytesbury-Princetown Blue at Boorcan.

In division three, Boorcan had a four wicket loss to Pomborneit Maroon at South Purrumbete.

The Dragons batted first and were all out in the 40th over for 128.

Opener Michael Carman top scored with 39 from 45 balls, Tony Hassett made a patient 31 from 79 balls with Roger Horspole making 20.

In reply, Pomborneit Maroon passed Boorcan’s score in the 32nd over for the loss of six wickets.

Roger Horspole led the bowling with 2/17 from eight overs.

This week the division three Dragons play Woorndoo at Woorndoo.

Monday night’s under 13 game was washed out, with the under 13 Dragons set to play Heytesbury-Princetown at Boorcan this Monday.
