Homes suffer tree damage

TWO buildings, one in Gnotuk and one in Derrinallum, suffered damage earlier this week.

A Victoria State Emergency Services (VicSES) spokesperson said both incidents involved a tree branch falling onto the roof of a residence.

The Derrinallum incident occurred at around 10.38am on Monday, February 3, and involved a property on Kurweeton Road.

“Camperdown SES attended the incident – no other units attended,” the VicSES spokesperson said.

“No persons trapped.

“It’s not clear what works were done to the property, but the incident was cleared 40 minutes after attendance.”

The Gnotuk incident occurred on February 2 at around 8.16pm, with the Camperdown SES unit clearing the incident within 30 minutes.
