Horan wins at Cobden

TWENTY-two players contested the monthly medal (stroke) and putting competition at the Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

A grade was won by C. Horan on net 75 from A. Giles on 76.

B grade went to M. Loving on 70, followed by J. Mason on 72.

Nearest the pins: 4th S. Mason, 7th S. Mahony, 10th M. Drayton, closest second on the second B. Welsby and closest on the 14th M. Drayton.

Putting was won by J. Mason with 28 putts.

Balls down the line went to S. Mason, N. Simmonds, S. Dawson and D. Absalom.

M. Drayton defeated L. Robertson (2 up) to win the C grade match-play championship.

This weekend, July 12, will be privilege pot (stableford).
