Lauris’ 40 years of dedication
ONE long-serving Sunnyside House Op Shop volunteer has been recognised for her dedication to the store this week.

The Sunnyside House Ladies Auxiliary, which runs the op shop, presented Lauris Rippon with a certificate honouring her 40 years of service at its annual general meeting on Monday.
Ms Rippon was gifted with a flower by treasurer Jeanette Duncanson and received her certificate from Sunnyside House chief executive officer Jo Forrest.
She said she was happy to be recognised for doing what she loved.
“I’ve loved everyone I’ve worked with at the shop,” Ms Rippon said.
“I’ve enjoyed everything.
“The volunteers all been a great help to me.
“It’s just wonderful.”
Ms Forrest expressed her gratitude for the work done by Ms Rippon over her 40 years of volunteering.
“We are so eternally grateful for all your time and all the things your hard work would have purchased for Sunnyside,” she said.
“Without your help, it would have been a completely different venture.”
