Nominate a volunteer

CORANGAMITE Shire residents have just days left to nominate a local legend from their community for an Australia Day award.

Nominations for the shire’s Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the year and Community Event of the Year awards will close on Monday, October 20.

The awards will be presented at the Theatre Royal in Camperdown on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 10am.

Community members are invited to nominate inspirational Corangamite Shire residents and groups to say thank you for their contributions in the past year or over a long time.

Nomination forms and guidelines are available at corangamite.vic.gov.au/AustraliaDayAwards or by calling council on 5593 7100.

Details of the entertainment and guest speaker will be confirmed closer to the date.
