Noonan wins monthly medal
CODY Noonan has won the monthly medal at Timboon Golf Club.
Last Saturday saw members play stroke for the monthly medal.
While Cody Noonan took out the medal, Saturday’s competition saw Steven Crees finish first for the day with 70 net, followed by Noonan with 72 and Rodney Edge third with 76.
Nearest the pins: 5th Jack Rowe, 7th Matt Walker, 10th Kevin Plozza and 14th Matt Walker.
The Nutrien ball on the 11th went to Steven Cres.
On Thursday the 12 hole chicken day was won by Barry Cook from Tori Ziegelaar. Nearest the pin was Peter Plozza.
Next Saturday’s event will be stableford.
It will also be the play-off for the Timboon Motors Plate between Barry Cook and Chris Huffadine.
The four-person Ambrose that was on the fixture will now be played on Saturday, April 13.

The four ball better ball (with drawn partners) was won by Michelle Gristede and Sophie Bowker with the exceptional score of 52 points.
Runners-up were Glenda Holland and Alison Walsh with 41 points.
Balls down the line went to Maureen Clements and Vera Convey who scored 40 points.
Nearest the pin: second shot to the 10th Michelle Gristede; second shot to the 14th Nelle Cashmore.
Alison Walsh won the Nutrien ball on the 13th.
The Timboon Golf Club will hold come and try days on the last Sunday of each month, starting on Sunday, April 28 at 1pm.
Equipment can be provided and everyone is welcome.
