Port Campbell hit by earthquake

RESIDENTS of Port Campbell may have been left scratching their heads after feeling the earth move below them last Sunday.

A 3.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Port Campbell at 1.39pm on Sunday, July 5.

A VicEmergency message was issued for Port Campbell and surrounding areas, with the epicentre between Port Campbell and Apollo Bay.

No callouts were made to Port Campbell State Emergency Services (SES) for damage caused by the earthquake.
