Rain cancels senior cricket
ALL four of Heytesbury-Princetown’s senior teams had their matches abandoned due to rain on Saturday.

In the division one premier division, the Storm won the toss and elected to bat first against Pomborneit at the Timboon Recreation Reserve.
Openers Hamish Huffadine and captain Matthew Love took the score briskly to 44 before Huffadine was caught off the bowling of Tharaka Sendanayake from 24 from 30 balls.
Love and Simon Harkness took the score to 72 before Harkness was caught behind for 14.
The Storm then had a mini collapse, reduced to 5/91 with three more quick wickets.
After 32 overs Heytesbury-Princetown was 5/103 when the rain set in and play was called off.
This week the Storm are at home again, hosting Simpson at the Timboon Recreation Reserve.

Heytesbury Princetown v Pomborneit
The division two match between Heytesbury-Princetown Purple and Pomborneit at Pomborneit was abandoned without a ball bowled.
Heytesbury-Princetown Blue’s match at Boorcan was also washed out.
This week in division two, Storm Blue will play Ecklin at Ecklin, while Storm Purple play Bookaar at Timboon High School.
The division three game between the Storm and Pomborneit Gold at South Purrumbete was also washed out without a ball bowled.
This week the division three Storm will play Camperdown at Camperdown number two.
In the under 16s, Heytesbury-Princetown had a 102 run loss to Cobden at Timboon on Sunday.
Jed Watson and Lachlan Doolan took three wickets each as the visitors made 7/190 from their 35 overs.
The Storm replied with 88, all out in the final over.
Byron Woods top scored with 16, while opener Alby Jones made a patient 13.
This Sunday’s under 16 match sees Heytesbury-Princetown play Bookaar.
No scores were available from Monday night’s under 13 game between the Storm and Boorcan at Boorcan.
This Monday in the under 13s the Storm host Bookaar at Timboon.
