Rain continues to fall
WET weather continued in July for Cobden, with consistent rain falling through the region last month and keeping pastures green.

A total of 90.6mm of rain fell over Cobden throughout July, aligning with the long-term monthly average of 92.3mm of rain recorded over the same period.
Three days of the month experienced particularly heavy rainfall, recording results in the double-digits, with July 12, July 23 and July 29 recording 14.8mm, 15mm and 12.8mm of rain respectively.
The result stands out against last year’s July tally, where 79.2mm of rain hit the ground in Cobden.

This brings the total annual recorded rainfall over Cobden to July to 426.8mm, which trumps the 318mm of rain recorded over Cobden during the same period in 2025.
However, the result is still short of the 451.2mm long-term average recorded over the same period.
