Sheedy and Smith entertain
LISMORE Derrinallum Football Netball Club hosted a Sportsman’s Night last Saturday, drawing a strong crowd for an evening of entertainment, stories and laughter.
The Nelson Twins (left and right), Kevin Sheedy and Issac Smith were special guests at last weekend’s Sportsman’s Night.
Club secretary Darcie Seers said the evening saw high levels of engagement with the guest speakers and entertainment.
“Guests were treated to special appearances from AFL great Kevin Sheedy and four-time premiership star Isaac Smith, who shared their football journeys and gave valuable insights into the game, sparking plenty of interest and inspiration,” Darcie said.
“Adding to the night’s entertainment, The Nelson Boys had the room in stitches with their sharp one-liners and comedy act.”.
The event proved a successful fundraiser for the club, with strong support from local businesses who generously donated items for an auction.
