Speed limit changes
DRIVERS travelling along Manifold Street in Camperdown in the morning and evening will notice a change in the speed limit from this week.
Slow down: The time frame for the 50km/h speed limit in Manifold Street was extended this week.
The change, which began on Monday, has seen a change in the timing of the speed reduction from 60km/h to 50km/h.
Corangamite Senior Sergeant Bill Caldow urged drivers to take note of the change.
“The previous speed zone was 50km/h from 8.30am-6pm and 60km/h from 6pm-8.30am,” he said.
“The Department of Transport and Planning have advised the changes to the speed zones will be 50km/h from 7am-7pm and 60km/h from 7pm-7am.”
