Stepping into leadership

SCHOOLS across the district have announced their student leaders for 2026, with 15 students stepping into leadership roles to represent their schools.

Camperdown College’s senior campus has announced Charlie Londregan and Zack Regan as student leaders.

For the junior campus, Kaylee Brebner and Magnus Van Den Meiracker have been voted in by their peers as student leaders.

Mercy Regional College named Matilda Curran, Joseph Moloney and Sonny Podger as school captains for 2026.

St Patrick’s Primary School will see Emma Lillie and Lewie West as school captains, supported by vice captains Poppy Gaut and Anderson Pekin.

Derrinallum P-12 College’s captains for 2026 are Eddie Gellie and Neave Thompson.

Abi Corrie and Ivy Moyle have been named as the student leaders for Lismore Primary School.
