Strong scores at Timboon

TWELVE players contested Timboon Golf Club’s two-person team event last week, for the honour of representing the club at the Doris Chambers final at Sanctuary Lakes.

Nellie Cashmore and Lynne Newton were the winners with a score of 72.375.

Runners-up on 76.75 were Vera Convey and Alison Walsh.

Nearest the pins on the 5th and 7th was Nellie Cashmore while Linda McKenzie was nearest on the 10th.
