Timboon celebrates Easter
THE last Timboon Action and Makers Farmers Market of the season was packed full of stalls and activities thanks to the Easter long weekend, drawing huge crowds to the town for the occasion.

Timboon Action president Enid O’Connor said they were “thrilled” by the amount of activities and turnout of the day.
“We had local musicians Peter Sharp and Tamara Gunn from the band Rockit playing live music,” she said.
“Little Bit of Sweet put on an Easter egg scavenger hunt and children from all over and everywhere came to participate. It was great.
“Lots of lovely things were happening with lots of food venues and 40 stalls.”
Timboon Action held a raffle which raised $300 for the community group.
“The raffle was won by Sharon Oates,” Mrs O’Connor said.
“The Timboon Action group ran the sausage sizzle and it was very successful.
“It was our second last event of the season, with our last being ANZAC day upcoming on Friday morning starting with a march from the senior citizens’ at 7.45am and a commemorative service at the Soldier’s Memorial commencing at 8am.”
