World Cup awaits Smith
TALENTED trap shooter Penny Smith was this week en route to Doha, Qatar to compete in the invitational ISSF World Cup final.
Smith, who was accompanied by fellow Australian Laetisha Scanlan, will be supported by the country’s Shotgun Performance coach, Renae Birgan.
The competition’s opening ceremony will take place tonight (Friday), with the women’s trap (75 targets) to take place from 9am tomorrow and women’s trap (50 targets) on Sunday.
The final of the women’s trap is scheduled for next Monday afternoon, followed by the official medal ceremony.
